2015-10-19 What's up with Servo for the week of 13 Oct 2015 - 19 Oct 2015

Please welcome Alan Jeffrey, or ajeffrey on IRC, to the Servo team! He will be doubling the size of our “Chicago office.” He is currently looking into our performance on Dromaeo, which is a heavy stress test of our Rust<->JavaScript integration.

In the last week, we landed 82 PRs in the Servo organization’s repositories. Additionally, we passed 5,000 stars on https://github.com/servo/servo!

Notable additions

jdm added a description of our directories and most important dependencies, with help from ms2ger
frewsxcv moved some of our old ref tests to the new WPT harness
frewsxcv also improved caching on Servo Travis builds
nox made heap JS<T> pointers dereferencable
nox also moved manual Derived impls to codegen
